Restoration and Conservation:
I do accept some 'selected' work for restoration, conservation or repair. However, there can be a long lead time, especially in the case of complicated restoration/conservation work. ( Some of my conservation work has been carried out for the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and the Metropolitan Museum New York, and for many other collections) For smaller repairs and set-up work, this can be accomodated sooner, subject to a 'minimum charge' . I do use outworkers on occassion, and this work is carried out to the highest standard, and carries the usual guarantee of work done in my own studio. I am also prepared to do 'emergency' work for professional players who need their instruments put back into use urgently.
Bow rehairs are usually done for 'next day'.
Enquire please.
